Real Fathers, Real Men Fatherhood Program
Real Fathers, Real Men Fatherhood Program offers educational and peer support to fathers and helps fathers to develop skills that strengthen ongoing co-parenting relationships and put their children first. There is also support to help assist eligible fathers with child support arrearage.
Certified by the CT Department of Social Services, this Fatherhood Program teaches fathers what it means to be a good father, partner and husband. This all male support group works towards meeting their family responsibilities, obtaining meaningful work, repaying child support and bonding with family members. CRT provides help with job searches and job leads, and participants have access to CRT’s full range of programs and services.
Group discussions focus on family issues such as money matters, dealing with the courts, anger management, bonding, improving communication, parenting skills, relationships, and much more. Weekly meetings are held in Hartford. No appointment is needed.
